Have you ever heard someone about to have surgery say to other wls patients: “Save me a seat on the loser’s bench?” Or, after the surgery has taken place, a support group member might greet them with “Welcome to the Loser’s Bench!” A few years ago, my friend Scott decided to take it a step further. He actually created a graphic of a bench, and personalized it for people who were about to have surgery. (GREAT idea!)
I met him after I had my surgery. I felt kind of left out, so one day he presented me with my very own “LOSER’S BENCH”. I forgot all about it until he posted some pictures on the forum of me in the past few years. I wanted to post it and show the bench to you! See, there REALLY IS a loser’s bench… ! You’re welcome to sit on mine anytime.
Scott is pretty creative. I never realized how large your site is and that it wasn’t free for you (until last week, that is, I didn’t know that). Thank you for all the time / effort you invest. ~Ycnan (haha)
I told Scott that he needed to “edit” or update my Loser’s Bench with a pillow on it… that way my butt won’t hurt all the time!
