As shared on my other site, RF06, I’m now a card totin’ member of the BBGC (Bariatric Bad Girls’ Club).
OK… so we don’t have cards - yet.
But, bracelets are coming… They were ordered by the creator, Melting Mama (Beth).
I created my own logo and ordered my t-shirt. I guess this means that some day in the future, when I say “Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt”, it won’t be a lie! tee hee ! Or, should I say, “TEE SHIRT!”

I love presents! I love presents! My friend, Scott aka Bald Is Beautiful, has been playing around with Photo Shop and his other toys (cameras, etc). And, he gave me a blog award. While I’m not the most tech-savvy person, I did manage to stick it over on the left widget with my other 2 blog awards… Its pretty small over there though. I wanted you to be able to see it up close so you don’t miss any of the lighting effects!
Scott is a fellow wls person. And, he took up photography pretty seriously just this past year although he has always really dabbled in it. I love to see the world through his eyes and lens because his version of the world is always more colorful, less drab, and full of life. I get used to seeing it “the same old way” and sometimes need a rekindled passion for the ordinary. Check out his blog for some great & inspiring photos… and recipes… and stories of how his life has changed after wls too!
No CommentsHave you ever heard someone about to have surgery say to other wls patients: “Save me a seat on the loser’s bench?” Or, after the surgery has taken place, a support group member might greet them with “Welcome to the Loser’s Bench!” A few years ago, my friend Scott decided to take it a step further. He actually created a graphic of a bench, and personalized it for people who were about to have surgery. (GREAT idea!)
I met him after I had my surgery. I felt kind of left out, so one day he presented me with my very own “LOSER’S BENCH”. I forgot all about it until he posted some pictures on the forum of me in the past few years. I wanted to post it and show the bench to you! See, there REALLY IS a loser’s bench… ! You’re welcome to sit on mine anytime.
